hi, its me, justin. reporting from costa rica again. daniel’s with me, we just got home, straight off a crowded bus. a nice bus ride tho, the sun was goin down and it was breezy and cool i didnt mind it. we ate at one of my favorite spots downtown, a dirty cheap perfect chinese place. i got sum eggy custard buns  to go & now im eatin them yum :9

TODAY: we weeennnttt to the farmers market early dis mornin with daniel y his mom y his moms mom aka grandma / then weeee went to a volcano / then ice cream via POPS 

but ahh & i wish i knew spanish its so AWKward not bein able to speak to daniels family n stuff ~~~ i feel like a dummy 

and sumtimes we jus go to the mall n stuff ya kno ~ i really dont mind where we go cuz i luv walkin around and lookin at everything SOAK IT UP~~ thats why my neck is sooo red right now not jk

one thing i DOnt like is the pollution down town *cough cough* its too much sumtimes!! * cries screams * and then i feeeeeeeeel * throws up * but then im like daniel lets go home now plz & then its fine

o yah also daniel wanted me to tell yall that today someone thought i was a nativ costa rican ;>

thanks to you guys ~ milkbbi just keeps growing & this next collection should be the biggest yet! (thats what im planning hopefully ^^;) i have lots of ideas for new NEW N E W products & i cant wait to start sharing them with you~~!!

its been a really busy week for ME andddd especially yesterday was a little crazy~ but somethin happened & it made me realize how much i really appreciate my friends & all the people that care about me!!! and also just how important it is tooooooo focus on positive things!!!! who needs negativity????!? lifes too short to give yr time to ppl who just bring you down!!!! wth!!! piss off!!! okayyYYY!! its useless~~~~~  its sumthin i already knew, but just recently was reinforced !!! & made me more excited to jus get oo o  o  u u u t t tt of here for a while T w T ( shout out to all yall in the dirty dumb south i hope u make it out sooooon )

its a new year! time to move onto new things! but id like to say a quick goodbye to 2012 first <3

at the end of 2011 during the holiday season, i released the first ‘collection’ for milkbbi. a small group of products including shirts, books, postcards etc. the response was great & several more mini collections were relesed throughout 2012~ each one more successful !!

2012 was definitely a year where i learned a lot and tried lots of new things~ ive shipped products all over the world and shared my work with so many people. i did something i never planned with the milkbbi backpacks and designed and created a real mass produced product, more than just a printed item~ which is something i would love to keep exploring!

when i look back on the things i created i feel very satisfied. the only problem is that i want to do more! i would love to see milkbbi continue to grow in the way it is now~ naturally & slowly ~ nothing too forced and planned

i dont know what will happen next. i dont know how long i will keep this going~ its great that people love it, because i love it too! but this is really just a project for me~ its really fun & i dont want it to get too serious~

ive said it before, but at the end of this month i will going to costa rica and staying for 3 months~ during that time the shop will be closed! i had a hard time deciding to do that~ and honestly am still worried if it is a good decision. but oh well!~ it will give everyone time to save up their money for the new collections! haha ^^ ~ but really, i have so many ideas of things i want to make this year, and a 3 month break from doing orders everyday will give me lots of time to create new things! 

& my blog n all that internet presence stuff will still be very active :> so we wont miss each other <3

most importantly! T H A N K - Y O U !! to everYBODY who has supported milkbbi over the last year! there are so many of you & i appreciate you ALL sincerely!! i feel like we are almost friends!  thank you for everything~ whether you have purchased from the shop or just follow me on tumblr or maybe you just stop by every month or so~ i really do appreciate it <3 and im glad i can create things that people appreciate so much U u U <3

• how are you?  im alright~~ been really busy workin on stuff lately. new things! wuts new? its october now, almost halloween~~ i can see the finish line. next up 2013!!! & ive already got sum plans :>

• at the end of january im flyyyyin to costa rica again. but this time i will be there for at least 3 months~ wow! gonna be spendin time with daniel of course wut else. im really excited. it will be nice to visit his home again. and 3 months is a long time in another country~~ it will be nice to experience sumthin like that.

• wuts gonna happen to the milkbbi shop while im gone??? well idk yet~~ but… well it seems like it might be closed for a while. a break could be good. then we will see how much we really need & miss each other ;) 

• as for the rest of the YEAR, re-releasing the backpacks & also sum new sweaters! &&& the hallozine is available until november &&& then its XMAS & in between here & there are sum other surprises :>

• i feel like all i journal about anymore is MILKBBI & DANIEL but idk wut else to say thats ME right now i guess, just a BOY~~~~~~~~~~~~ anyway luv u if u read these ♥

the milkbbi backpacks were a success! ^^ the most successful thing ive ever sold~ wow! a new record! thats one for the books! ~ but now they are resting in your homes U u U ♥ so giv them a kiss 4 me plz

the past 2 weeks ive just been workin on new designs n stuff~~ PREPARATION! but no peeking yet! its too early 9 u 9 

ive become addicted to ebay & i started watching a new korean drama (answer me 1997) its nice

maybe thats pretty boring stuff tho~ but the ship is sailing steadily. 

daniel will be here in november, then i will be really really happy again. everything im doing now is just keeping me busy until he is here. i bought my ticket to costa rica for january 28th~~ & if u can keep a secret, well i wish i didnt have to come back (sorry USA i still luv u)

wow its been 2 months since my last journal… how are you??

let’s see. hm i turned 23 y/o on july 5~ p weird tbh! when will i feel my age? is that jus one of those WEIrd things people say??

its summer time in the south & its been HOT!!! DEVILISH!! VOLCANIC!! #dead —- ”heat advisory in effect” basically evryday!!!!! & our AC has been out for like 3 weeks …….. whoops

it hasnt rained in so longgg & its so dryyy! fireworks were banned during July 4th for safety reasons, so this year was the first time for me & everyone in my family to not see fireworks on july 4th WOW even my old grandma!

~ but anyway ~ 

i did a small “back to school” update in the shop! notebooks & backpacks~~~ the backpacks have sold better than ANY milkbbi product during the first week!!!! it feels great & i’m proud of that design ♥ ♥ ♥ (ty everybody) 

me & daniel are buying plane tickets soon & he will be here in october ! (im very very excited about that)

i always think about goin back to costa rica. of course im gonna go again soon i guess. but daniels workin now hmmm so idk. i wanna stay for a long time. HM but id have to close the shop & daniel doesnt think i should do that~~~~ hm

there are so many exciting nice things going on in the world. they make me feel happy & excited! so glad that such nice things are able to happen! great people comin together~ BUt it also makes me a lil sad cuz im like dang~ why am i not a part of all these nice things? could i be? I THINK SO! well i guess anything is possible … 9 o 9 i dont wanna jus accept that there are different worlds & maybe im not a part of the one i wanna be. its 2012!!!!!!!!!!

i woke up with flat hair~ daniel gave me these shorts in costa rica 

prolly youve seen ive been workin on the milkbbi shop lately~ wut do u think? i had fun doing it, its always fun doing the whole process, i mean, in the end. u know. RESULTS! thats the best part! but TESTS r important 2 ~ HMM

i havent written a journal since Daniel left, i guess cuz things have been prettttyyyy mellowwww for the past month~ just livin life i guess, doin things here & there

but im ok tho. i can enjoy this time alone. chill out n focus. 

2012 has 1 foot in the grave (& in this example 2012 has 3 feet) no point tryin to hold out! jus gotta keep yr head up :> 

cuz its gonna sink eventually, somebody already poked a hole in it. but in the meantime, until another ship comes, im gonna try 2 make S.S.2012 really nice ♥

well, at 4:45 this morning i took daniel to the airport & cried all the way home

ive had a headache all day

it was really really so hard to say goodbye, but i kept reminding myself & daniel that it was not goodbye forever

i got really used to having a best friend with me all the time, now that i know what thats like, its sad to lose it

living far apart isnt the worst i guess, but living together is better for sure

but me & daniel had a great time right up to the last hour though~ so i should celebrate that, think positivitely & remember the good things

so now its back to reality for both of us~ we have to keep working & moving forward ♥

new MILKBBI products will be here this month! tights! pins! shirts! buttons! pouches! i was glad daniel was here to see the new products in person, and we both really loved them~

also i have an idea for a new video, and will start workin on that inbetween other things
